Our Response to Adonai’s Love – Displaying Integrity
“The integrity of the upright guides them,
but the duplicity of the treacherous destroys them.”
Proverbs 11:3
Integrity is a characteristic of human beings that is sorely being tested. All around us I see instances where profit is held in higher esteem, than is integrity. I see desire being elevated over integrity. Why is integrity so important?
Integrity means living in accordance with our deepest values. Integrity means we are honest with those around us. Integrity means we always keep our word – our word is our bond. These three characteristics are what separate the true believers from false believers and ‘good’ citizens from ‘bad’ citizens.
When we show integrity in our daily lives, we are displaying to our Holy Abba our love for Him and our desire to please Him.
Abba B’Shamayim, Heavenly Father, we are so grateful to You for the values we hold deeply. Thank You, also, for encouraging us to be honest with others in our lives. Thank You for allowing us to be keepers of the Word, which becomes our bond. B’Shem Adonai Yeshua, Mashichainu, our Messiah, Amen.
