Omer Day 2
Transformation through Accepting Torah as our Life Instructions
The Torah of Adonai is perfect, restoring the inner person. The instruction of Adonai is sure, making wise the thoughtless.
Psalm 19:7
Human beings are a rebellious lot. Instinctively we ‘know’ what we need to do better than anyone else. How many times have you heard someone say to you – “You cannot possibly know what I need (to have or to do); you haven’t been in my shoes.” That is a completely true statement, as it applies to human beings. But it does not apply to Adonai. He is the only one who knows what we need (to have or to do), even before we come to that realization.
Adonai is the primary author of Torah, although human beings acted as scribes. It is in Torah that we find direction for our lives. And, when I write, it is in Torah, I include the teachings of Adonai Yeshua, found in the Brit Hadashah. Accepting the Torah of Adonai Elohim, as our life instructions, is transformational.

Guided Reflection: What is the difference, for you, between being a ‘hearer of the Word’ and being a ‘doer of the Word’? For you, what are the dangers of being a hearer of the Word only?
May you be fully and richly blessed by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
