Listen, My people, to My Teaching;
turn your ears to the Words from My mouth.
Psalm 78:1
In Hebraic understanding, listening requires action. It means we step forward in trust, accepting what is said is true. Otherwise, we would not listen, would we? In like manner, Adonai asks us to listen to His Words, uttered through Torah, through the words of His prophets and from His lips to our hearts. Help me, Abba, to follow Your Path, to stay on Your Way, neither straying to the right or the left.
